The SIKA® VKF is the NEW version of Fire Sprinkler Flow Switch which has been designed to supersede the VKS model previously used in the Residential and Domestic Fire Sprinkler market. Designed to work as a low pressure loss design with the RISERTEQ Fire Sprinkler Valve Set Riser Manifolds this Fire Sprinkler Flow Switch is the most compact and fit for purpose for Residential and Domestic Fire Sprinkler systems.

Driven by magnets the SIKA VKF flow switch is robust and reliable in Residential and Domestic Fire Sprinkler systems. The flow switch enables installations into the tightest of spaces due to the unique union design and compact body. SIKA has been producing flow switches for over 45 years in the headquarters and factory in Germany. Each flow switch is fully functional tested during production which ensures reliability of installations and 100% assurance in the SIKA product. SIKA has built its name around ‘Quality by Tradition’ and the VKF flow switch is just another example of their high quality products. The flow switch uses a O-ring grove connection to ensure the PN12 pressure rating is guaranteed and fit for purpose.
Fire Sprinkler Flow Switch alarms have a harmonized code in Europe and the UK, which is EN 12259-5, this then enables correct CE marking. Using a UK notified body the SIKA Flow Switch is the first Fire Sprinkler flow switch to hold UKCA marking.
Furthermore the SIKA VKF Flow Switch has also recently been granted WRAS drinking water approval, this is for pump systems and special applications where the drinking water is not separated from the fire sprinkler system before the flow switch with a suitable non-return valve (NRV).
